How is my Order Processed? 

We aim to ship your order within 24 hours of receipt, although during very busy 'peak' periods processing may take slightly longer. Please note that orders placed over the weekend are processed the following Monday.

Once your order has been picked, checked and packed by our warehouse team we will send a copy of your invoice along with further information regarding the despatch method.

  Shipping Costs & Methods  

We use a variety of shipping methods depending on the size/value of your order.

Royal Mail – Very small/low value parcels are be sent via Royal Mail, we use their First Class service so most arrive 1-2 days after our despatch confirmation. Royal Mail Tracked - Medium sized parcels will be shipped using Royal Mail Tracked (48 Hour) Service. You will receive your tracking information in an email directly from Royal Mail. No signature is required and if you are unavailable to receive delivery the parcel will be left at your local Post Office for you to collect. DPD – Larger/Higher value shipments will be despatched via DPD, who will email/SMS you directly to confirm the delivery date (usually the Next Working Day after your goods leave us). They will also provide you with an estimated 1 hour delivery slot so that you don't need to wait in all day! Please note that DPD deliveries do require a signature so if the delivery date/time is not suitable you can respond to them directly and make alternative arrangements. If you are not at the premises when delivery is attempted, the driver will leave a card with details of how to arrange a redelivery.

Pallet – Extra large items or large multiple orders are shipped on a pallet using the Palletways network which normally takes 2-3 days. Our warehouse team will contact you in advance to arrange a convenient time for the delivery to take place.

International Shipping

International consignments are shipped using a number of different       couriers/freight forwarders depending on the final destination. Companies used regularly include Royal Mail, DPD, UPS, TNT & Palletways. Our shipping regions are split into four Zones: UK, Europe, North & South America and Asia. 

 

 

Normans offers a 14 day return period for any items ordered that are no longer required/have been ordered in error. You must notify us via email of your intention to return within 14 days from receipt of your goods (not the invoice date). The goods must be in an as new condition and returned, at your cost, with the original packaging. We advise sending via a tracked secure carrier to ensure you have proof that your parcel has reached us safely.

Please note:  We will not be responsible for any damage incurred to the goods on their way back to us, please ensure the goods are packaged appropriately. A stocking in fee may be applied when goods are not returned back to us in their original, unused condition. Goods Damaged in Transit

All goods must be inspected on receipt and any damage reported to us within 48 hours. Please contact our Customer Support Team via the Amazon messaging service to report any damage and they will advise what action is required. We will normally arrange collection of the damaged items so please include your original Amazon receipt within your return parcel. Any goods that are reported transit damaged after the initial 48 hours will need to be returned back to us for assessment before a replacement is offered.

Faulty Goods/Claims Under Warranty

If you believe your instrument to have a fault/manufacturer defect, please report the issue to our support team via the Amazon messaging service. Provide as much detail as possible to help them ascertain the best solution, they will then advise you on the next step. This may vary depending on a number of factors including value/size/age of faulty product. Rest assured that our team will endeavour to resolve your issue with the least possible inconvenience.
